The property
and cabins are set up mainly for couples. Each cabin is 1 bedroom and 1
bath but with queen sofa sleepers they will accommodate up to four.
Cabin
#1 has the kitchen and living room on the creek side. Listen to
the creek while sipping coffee at the kitchen table. The queen bedroom
and bathroom are on the back. This is the honeymooner
cabin.
Cabin
#2 is forty square feet larger because it is handicap accessible.
The living room and bedroom are on the creek side. Let the babbling brook
lull you sleep at night. The kitchen and bath are on the back. This
cabin also seems larger because the living room, dining room and kitchen
are all one open room. The bedroom has a twin and a full size
bed.
Both cabins
are completely furnished with linens and towels, fully equipped all
electric kitchens including full size refrigerator with ice maker,
microwave, coffee maker, cookware and dinnerware. There is a
charcoal grill on the deck. Other amenities include a gas fireplace
and satellite TV.
DIRECTIONS
Directions
from Asheville: Follow I-40 West to 19-23-74 (Exit 27) and continue to
Highway 19 (Exit 103) to Maggie Valley. Once in Maggie Valley look for J.
Arthur's Restaurant on the left. Just past the restaurant turn left
on Twin Brook Lane. Twin Brook Lane is beside the fire station.
Follow Twin Brook Lane up to fork. Go right on Spring Lake Rd. Take
Spring Lake Rd up to where Nottingham Rd branches off to the right.
Misty Creek Log Cabins is the first property on the left. Enter
property at the second driveway on the left.
